Here’s another writeup of another challenge of GovTech CSG’s CTF 2020 competition. This one was the easiest — took three minutes.

QR codes don’t need to be completed in order to be read, so all I did was to copy this into powerpoint, and added the missing position marker on top left, and completed a few more chipped-off square patches.

I tried scanning the above code, and was pleasantly surprised that it worked. Not sure if that was intended given the difficulty of other challenges, or that I just had a good QR scanner, but no complains there!
